My dad died when I was three and I'm super emotional. I really need help. What can you tell me to help me???

My mom was comforting a girl whose little brother died and she said, "Yes it must be hard but you got to move on. It already happen and you can't do anything to change the death. If you keep on crying or being sad it just going to create more problems like for example if you have a job. Also I don't think that person want you to be like this or to create more problems for yourself so just accept it and move on." I don't know if this was helpful but if not than sorry.
hi! theres nothing wrong with being super emotional, thats life, but I think you just need to open up to someone whom you really trust. Pray about it, ask God for strength (esp. emotional strength), read the bible.its okay to cry and mourn, never forget that.
