I have recently been questioning everything I thought I wanted to do in life, and I mean everything. I thought I wanted to be a doctor, then a drawer, but there was always somebody in the back of mind that tried to shove me towards acting. I have good speech fluency, I always did well during speeches, and plays during elementary school, but I knew I didn't want to be the person on stage in front of people. I wanted to be the person who gave the characters life and watch them transform before my eyes. So now I was wondering, how do you become a voice actor? Are there certain courses to take through high school? Are there colleges for voice-acting?
What do I have to do to become a voice actor?

Forget high school, it is strictly supervised play. Go to a community college and take acting classes, concentrating on vocal skills such as story telling. When you get to a professional level, your teachers will find a job for you. You can also go to a local radio station and ask who does their jingles. Then go to that company. They will know as soon as you speak whether they want you.
Also take civics classes, because you need to know a few things. Also take personal financial management classes because if you earn some money you need brains to spend it wisely. Get the book "Dress For Success" by John Molloy and pay attention to the advice for students. But don't blow your money on fancy clothes. Get a conformist hairstyle and find someone to show you how to do a military spit shine on your shoes. Those things will do more for your career than fancy clothes.
