She tells us to put the right hand on top, says that we have to be able to reach "the pinky keys". We only play with one joint, so that might be why she think's those keys are pinky keys, I understand where she's coming from, but still it annoys the crap out of me and she yells at me when I do it the wrong way and says I won't get to fully assemble it if I keep playing with my left hand on top :/ What do I do?

First, respect your teacher.
Don't know the first thing anent musical instruments, therefore cannot discern whether either way is advisable.
Notwithstanding, you ought to speak to her in private, and explain the conundrum. Mayhap she'll have some specific advice to offer, or consider your suggestion. A good teacher can adapt to a student who expresses the sort of disposition which mends itself under a light touch and blunders under pressure.
Eft, if it's a private tutor, you could change; As part of a school ensemble, you've only the choice of persisting in spite of adversity, or quitting.
