I have my first varsity soccer game at the same time as my birthday party. I can't cancel my birthday a few hours befor (it's been planned for months) but my coach has a policy that if you miss a game, you get kicked off the team. What do I do?

You'll have to decide which occasion is more important to you. Honestly, I think you should cancel your birthday party, and maybe go to the movies or something. I know you planned it for months, but I can't think of anything else to do. I am sorry for you. I hope you find a better answer then mine.
