My child had scoliosis but it was not diagnosed until two years after going to the doctors. The first two times we went they said she was fine then I changed doctors where she was finally diagnosed and it has been getting worse and the pain is spreading but nothing is being done. They said we would recieve a ASAP hospital appointment because of how serious it was 5months ago but nothing. What can I do?

this happened to me as well. mine went undiagnosed for a long time. and by the time it was i was too old for it to be fixed with a brace. i had the surgery for the rods to be put in when i was 16(I'm 20 now). even to get to that point i had to go to the doctors repeatedly. you have to keep bugging them for them to do something. if they don't call you you call them. request X-rays each time to check the progression. and for the pain the best thing for me was swimming. even now it helps my back so much. so take her swimming as much as you can. its the best excursive for spine problems. plus its fun!
