What do Certified Lifeguard Training Instructors need to do to stay certified?

Once I am a Certified Lifeguard Training Instructor, do I need to continually get recertified for life guarding? Either recertified as an instructor or recertified for my regular lifeguard certification.

Answer

Lifeguards are certified for 2 years and to get certified agin after it's expired you do not have to take the whole class agin just the recertification class.
