He changed the course of the war, and not only that he changed the course of America and the Great Depression, he had a hands on approach to the depression n the war in Europe, he pushed the American women in to the work force to build tanks and airplanes to help with the war, instituted war bonds to help find the war by ordinary Americans, and choose to go to war and declare war on Germany and Japan after Pearl Harbor, and doing so changed the whole course of the war, and by joining world war 2 we defeated Germany and Japan
