I m first year engineering student...
I m little introvert and seldom talk to any girl..
but as I have observed that a girl from my class often keep gazing at me..
please tell me what could be probable reason of it...

You suspect that she likes you, you're probably right.
To be sure, try asking her out.
If you're not quite ready for that then try to get to talk to her alone, try gesturing to her when she is gazing, a nod, a smile, a wink, a wave. Just do something to acknowledge that you see her too.
At the end of the day, you could ask her out and she could say no.
Don't be disheartened by this and remember, the only way you're going to know is if you try.

You could have put that in your original question, it's easy to get rid of her.
Just go up to her after she gazes at you and tell her to stop doing it.
If you are too shy to do this then like I said in my original answer signal her that you see her, but instead of a nod or wink just make an obscene gesture with your hands (I'm sure you know at least one), sorted!
she likes me or not I don't know but I don't like anyone gazing me..
could u suggest something so that she stop gazing at me...
