When the Fed creates money, that encourages all manner of spending, but it is not all wise spending. When the money creation slows, people lose jobs and everybody starts whining about hardships, the direct result of the unwise spending. Before the Fed was created there was no unemployment and no inflation. Nuthin zip zero nada goose egg. Everybody who wanted a job had one. There was also no inflation. They don't teach this stuff on evening tv shows, and the Fed bankers make the process as complex as possible, and that is why nobody knows these simple truths.
