Every spring, sea hawks in pairs come to make their nests song the river behind my house. There are nesting posts built that some sea hawk couples use, but for some reason one pair always insists on building their nest at the end of my neighbors pier. It breaks my heart everyday hearing the birds yelling about their home being destroyed every single day. Now they've gone so far as to mount spikes at the end so the birds can't land where they normally attempt to build, though they are still Pershing that spot. The neighbors don't even use their dock, they're almost 90 years old. Does anyone know if I could call any wildlife people or something to help these poor animals? I live on the east coast in Virgina.

I guess it is their property and you can't really control what's not yours. I feel horrible for the sea hawks, and I wish something could be done about it. Maybe you could ask your family or friends about it and they could give you some good advice.
I hope this helps you! :)
