I live in central ohio and my room in in the basement so I wouldn't find it unusual to occasionally get a bug bite or two, but since it's currently winter I don't think what bit me was a mosquito. The bite feels very similar to one though but the bite bump is very small. There is no scab and the bites appear in various places when I wake up in the morning. I have washed by blankets, searched for signs of bugs and found nothing, dead or alive, and nothing seems to work. I even have a canopy around my beg but whatever it is still somehow bites me. The bites swell and become inflamed and itch like crazy. Then after a few days that goes away and I am left with a single tiny bump in its place. Does anyone know what this could be? I don't think it's bed bugs...

It could've most likely been a spider, when you say that you washed your blankets and have found nothing, it appears it could be a spider because they are SUPER fast to getting away! xD If the situation happens again I'd go to a doctor if I were you, just to make sure the supposed "bite" wasn't poisonus (sorry about spelling). Hope this helps! :D
