What are the problems and prospects of teaching Geography in secondary school?

Depending on what school you teach at, it can be different. At previous schools I have been in. The geography teachers have a lot of naughty children, who backchat. Many children also find this subject boring. I am unsure about the prospects, with me being a student. I hope this helps :)
