Will there be defects on the polycarbonate from any chemicals of the nail polish?

There are two types of nail polish, enamel and lacquer. Lacquer is pigment dissolved in acetone. Polycarbonate is incompatible with ammonia and acetone because it dissolves in their presence. Polycarbonate is said to be paintable, meaning the enamel will stick to it.
