I'm 17 and one parent is trying to get custody of me from my primary parent.
In general, is custody likely to get changed even if I prefer it to stay the same?

no custody will not change, unless of course your primary parent or guardian does not want you to stay, also if the secondary parent takes it to court then the goverment will choose wether your primary parent or guardian has a good or better living inviorment then the secondary parent...
