If you want an underpaid go no where job stop telling them you have a college degree! Just say some college and don't go any further don't even say you graduated. It's that easy.
If you are under qualified then get a job and go to school nights and weekends or online and get your Masters. I worked out with a personal trainer while he went back to school for 2 years to get his Masters and he is now a Physical Therapist. So theres nothing preventing you from doing a push for the degree that opens more lucrative doors.
Unpaid volunteer work can also go on a resume so volunteer to coach students in math be a tutor or do it for minimum wage. It's working and being responsible and perfectly acceptable to put on a resume. Any charity trying to put adults into the work force and they need math help volunteer to help with their program.
