My daughter was invited to three of her friends sweet 16 birthday partys and we need to get a gift but I have no idea what to get. Are monitary gifts accetable and if so ho much? Any idea's would be greatly appretiated!

IMO a gift of money says you don't care enough to choose an actual gift and you only gave because you thought it was a duty. A ten buck bottle of bath oil is better than twenty bux in cash. Go to the big department store at the mall and ask the lady at the cosmetics counter what to get.
For a sweet 16, I prefer asking your daughter what their favorite activity or a pastime is which she shares with that particular friend...might be individual for everyone or the three of them just might share the same 'thing' !
Then based on your daughter's responses, you can buy a personalized gift for each of them. For example, Funko POP's are a great gift for anyone, regardless of age! They are highly attractive and there is a funko pop for every movie, TV show, cartoon character, so on. Substitutes for funko pops can be books, a comfortable pair of earphones or a DVD of the movie '16 Wishes'.
Get a gift which suits them as a group, something which is personal yet can be enjoyed by all of them. Monetary gifts on the other hand render them to make their own decisions of what to acquire later, which destroys the essence of surprise and birthday gift.
