A Phlebotomist is a clinical support worker who supports the medical team by taking blood from patients (usually in the hospital or GP).

Normally that training is on the job, you can however take freestanding courses with medical training companies, however, this doesn't mean that you will be competent with whichever company you want to be employed by many will want you to complete their own competencies being watched by a qualified member of their own staff.
