im looking for a gecko to keep as a pet and wanted some breed options that aren't too pricey

Leopard geckos are definitely the easiest geckos to own. Crested Geckos aren't too bad as well. Leopard geckos don't actually need light at all, and supplies and the actual gecko are cheap. I bought my Leopard Gecko for 75$. It was quite expensive, but that was just because I bought it from a pricy store, and the gecko was a fancy. Usually the leo would cost 20$, 30$ or occasionally more. Crested geckos are a little more expensive, and definitely require more supplies.
This is an awesome question I am happy to answer. Sadly, no matter how cheap the animal it is them selves, their setup, food, and care will ALWAYS be pricey sadly. Leopard geckos are around $30, but i recommend getting one from a breeder. They need a heat pad, heat lamp, a humid hide, soil or paper towl roles for bedding or substrate, crickets (super worms and meal worms are good too), some decor, and more. 10 gallon terrariums are suggested, and I can't stress this enough; no animal is cheap. Another species are crested geckos, but I wont go thru what they need. Sorry if I disappointed you, but if I did help then your welcome.
