My friend has made app for montessori kids "Montessori Early Childhood Activities Train 2". But I am not sure whether I should allow kids to learn through app. What I found is kids love gadgets. Its hard to keep them away from mobile and say no. So I thought of letting them play this learning game instead of wasting time on some other games. What are the thoughts of experts on this? The app is nice one with proper parental control for In-App purchase. But still I would like to have the expert thoughts on this subject.

I am not a certified expert (well, I am, just not in this field) but I have done a lot of research into this field because it interests me. Children (like almost everyone else) like electronics. So take advantage of that. If you're kids want to play an educational app than that's a lot better than playing something like Call of Duty of GTA (which frighteningly enough some parents are now letting kids as young as 6 or 8 play these). And no, using electronics and playing games will not rot your brain or interfere with development. It uses the same parts of the brain as reading a book. So I would say let your kids use the App (the final choice is up to you of course as the parent, this is just my opinion) but DO place some sort of limit on it of course. Any chores or schoolwork should be done first, make sure they get a few hours of exercise each week as well as extra-familial socialization, but beyond that let them spend their free-time how the want.
I am a kid so I am not an expert.Either way, kids and adults use too much time using screens. After using too much screens (in the long term) you can get arthritis or bad vision.I finish all my chores and homework, then I am able to do screen time. But I can't play any screen games, only on days I don't have school, but I can't misbehave either.
