I am currently trying to get an overview of all the different kinds of cryptocurrency because, on the one hand, I think it is really interesting, and on the other hand, I am thinking about investing in some too. Now, I found these CC's online, and as far as I know, this is a new cryptocurrency, which is supposed to be more stable than others. Nevertheless, I am not quite sure what's the difference between this cryptocurrency and all the others on the market? Is it just the stability on the market or is there a lot more behind it? And is there anything similar already in the online market?
What are Cultural Coins?

Thanks so much for your effort in looking up the culture coin. And thanks a lot to the other user for explaining it righ :)
There are maaaany different cryptocurrencies available and some more every day. Makes it a little bit difficult to decide, which ones seem interesting - mostly depends on your personal preferences at this point.
Just looked at the currency you selected and i guess, the advantage would be the field of interest. If you enjoy cultural events or visiting museums on vacations, you could use those CCs as a way of ticketing and both you and the museum would get some "extra points" back - kind of a loyalty program.
Re: stability - well, hard to make eternal prophecies about that but i can think of at least 2 reasons why this could be the case: On the one hand, the company is only going to release/create a limited number of those Cultural Coins - which makes it harder to manipulate the value of a currency. On the other hand, it is after all meant to become a currency used for spending on cultural projects and not just saving - which would suggest a healthy and stabilizing circular flow of coins.
I am sorry but i don't really know about something similar already existing in the market.
Thank you so much for your detailed answer!
I actually truly enjoy cultural events, however, mostly abroad. Of course, every now and then I visit a museum in my hometown but I've already been to all of them. That's why I enjoy visiting museums more on vacations.
Do you already hold some cultural coins? Why do you know this so well? And can you explain to me the loyalty program in detail? I just don't understand how this works.
Thanks :)
My pleasure, looking it up was not thaaat hard and if you know a bit about this market it is easier to find the right answers.
Haha, well, i can totally sympathize with that. In fact, in foreign countries i am way more interested about cultural events, old buildings and museums than in my home city. Human beings are weird!
Oh, sorry, i am not holding any Cultural Coins - even while as it seems they are still in the ICO phase anyway - but i got into the crypto-market earlier.
Regarding the loyalty program: According to their homepage (Culturalplaces dot com), on the one hand, for all the CCs you spend, you get back 1% as a reward - and for all CCs which are spent in general, 1% goes into a pool and is spread between the cultural institutions who are participating. ;)
Thanks for the explanation! I really appreciate it.
Do you like cultural events abroad too or do you just like sightseeing from the outside? Because if you do, why don't you hold any CC yourself?
I'm completely new to the cryptocurrency market and even though this one seems to be pretty stable I'm a little bit concerned about investing. I've never invested in anything on the finance market. However, I do like the concept and project of CC because it feels like, you really get something from it, i.e. tickets for museums.
Both of you got it right and both coins are real. ;) The cultural coin is seemingly a new project (still in its ICO phase) and the culture coin an older one.
