Can you please tell me the characteristic features of chemical changes with respect to formation of new substances?

There are usually 2 different changes: Chemical and Physical. Chemical is when the particles bond together, occasionally throwing out certain parts for the sake to make new substances. For example, when Sodium + Chloride --> sodium chloride. You cannot undo Chemical changes. Physical changes, on the other hand, are much easier to reverse, manipulate, and control. Water is going through a Physical change when you freeze it or heat it up. It evaporates when it's hot enough, and freezes into ice when it's cold enough.
There are SOME excuses. Cracking an egg may seem like a chemical change, but since you can (probably not) put the egg yolk and white back into the reconstructed egg shell. And also no particles are being bonded or removed so it is a Physical change.
Thank you for resolving my query.
