What adaptation would be more beneficial on the tundra?

You are using four words that pretty much don't belong together. Tundra is frozen mud. Almost nothing lives there, so adaptation does not apply. Humans take their biosphere someplace else. So if you think this is a subject for discussion, you are going to have to tell us about it, rather than ask us about it.
