Recently I have been getting dizzy a lot, I feel nauseous and my head throbs if I stand up too fast. Sometimes I’m just standing and I get so dizzy I have to sit down. Does anyone know what’s happening?

You have to see a provider, first of all. Things to keep in mind: are you taking any medication? Some blood pressure meds can do that. Have you lost a substantial amount of weight without trying? Are you a vegan(maybe anemia)? Any ringing in the ears? Age (this one affects certain things)? Chest pain(maybe circulatory problems)? Bleeding or heavy menses if woman? There are a lot of factors here, thats why your best bet is to go to provider, he/she can run tests and see whats going on with blood, hormones, etc. dont delay is my advice, and dont rely on internet, could be a million different things.
This could be due to physical or mental distress. Go to your doctor and make sure if you’re taking any medicine it’s alright for you to take it (not allergic, etc) and that this isn’t a side effect. Some people to talk to to pinpoint the problem are thearapists, cardiologists (heart), allergist (in case this is due to allergy if changing seasons etc.), or an orthopedic doctor (in case this is due to muscle/back problems). This could also be due to change in routine for eating drinking or exercise, or you could be sick without realizing. I would go to your normal doctor first while maintaining healthy habits and maybe consider doctors such as these depending on what your doctor tells you.
There are three causes of anemia: iron deficiency, copper deficiency, and vitamin E deficiency. Your condition might be due to low blood pressure, which has many possible causes. It is even possible that you just need to drink more water. There is nothing but to see a doctor and get tested for possible causes.
