I am 10 years old and I think I am FAT. I am 115.00 pounds. My mom says that I should not be doing Wii fit but I do not want to be teased. My dad on the other hand thinks that I should be doing Wii fit. He does not say I am fat but I know he is thinking it. I tried looking it up but there is nothing for a kid. All I want to do is lose enough that I will be under 100 lbs. What should I do?

I don't see anything wrong with playing the Wii Fit. But i think it would be easier to just eat healthy food, drink plenty of water and get plenty of exercise. Your PE class should have plenty of physical activity which would be the perfect time to get some exercise. Plus, playing outside with your friends after school and on the weekends is also better.
Starving yourself is the worst thing you can do. Your body goes into famish mode and as soon as you eat, it stores the fat because it thinks it will go for a long time without nourishment.
Eat breakfast within 40 minutes of waking up to get your metabolism up. Eat 3 meals a day and have 2 light snacks in between.
Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from white rice and white bread. Eat lean stuff. Should work. And exercise at least 20 to 30 minutes a day. Running or some other cardio should do the trick.
Weight loss, however, doesn’t have to be stressful or complicated. A few simple habit changes could make a big difference — over the long term.

I'm guessing your caloric maintenance level is at around 1771 calories a day, 12397 a week. As long as you stay below these numbers, you'll burn pure fat.
So this means you need to know what your caloric intake is. How much calories do you take in by means of food and drink? You need to figure this out and do this on a daily basis.
If your caloric intake is at maintenance level, the only thing keeping you back is your activity level. The more calories you burn, the more PURE FAT you'll burn and you need to log these activities as well in order to keep everything in check.
Bsically it 'aint difficult to lose fat but people get desperate and stuff and that's why they get duped into buying things they don't need and may even cause harm.
I talk about these kind of stuff on my blog so you may wanna check it out for more in depth info. My blog is: burnfatbuildmuscleblog.wordpress.com.
But hey, you can do whatever...
If you burn 500 more calories than you eat every day for a week, you should lose about 1-2 pounds.
If you want to lose weight faster, you'll need to eat less and exercise more.
For instance, if you take in 1,050 to 1,200 calories a day, and exercise for one hour per day, you could lose 3-5 pounds in the first week, or more if you weigh more than 250 pounds. It's very important not to cut calories any further -- that's dangerous.
Limiting salt and starches may also mean losing more weight at first -- but that's mostly fluids, not fat.
"When you reduce sodium and cut starches, you reduce fluids and fluid retention, which can result in up to 5 pounds of fluid loss when you get started," says Michael Dansinger, MD, of NBC's The Biggest Loser show.
