I'd like to lose weight to be healthier and really want to decrease my caloric intake as it's healthier , I eat approximatively 1600 calories per day but I want to eat only 1000 .
Is it OK ?

if i were you and i wanted to loose weight, i would eat 1,200 calories for about a week, then the next week you could eat 1,100 calories for a week, then go to 1,000 calories and leave it there. don't go from eating 1,,600 calories per day to eating 1,000 calories per day because you might get sick by making that huge difference right away.
I think that 1000 calories is a bit too little. The lowest caloric intake generally recommended is 1200 calories, but there are calculators online to help you with that. The app My Fitness Pal also helps you calculate that, plus is has a gigantic database of foods and their calories, so you can log your meal portions and control your caloric intake. I have cut sodas, boxed juices and table sugar completely from my diet, plus all sort of refined carbs (pasta, bread, pizza). I try to eat as much fruits and veggies as I can throughout the day in order to keep feeling satiated (carry all of them around in my back pack). So, instead of concentrating on caloric intake, you should concentrate on the quality of the calories that you are consuming, as your blood glycemic values will depend on how long your food needs to be digested and absorbed (refined carbs are digested very quickly, making your blood sugar spike and crash, which makes you tired and hungry again very quickly), so go for the way our ancestors ate: as naturally as possible. In my case, I was also overweight, so I bought myself a mini-stepper and put it in front of my tv, so in order to watch it, I would need to exercise for 15 minutes from the moment I turn my tv on. In 5 months I lost 8 kg (~17.5 lbs) and I feel better than never. Good luck with your healthy eating!
