I keep seeing on Pinterest how people take sticks and paint them white and put glitter on them and stick them in vases for their wedding centerpieces. My wedding is in June and I would like to try this but I keep hearing online that this is for a winter theme. I was just wondering if it would be okay for a June wedding? Or if anybody else did this for a summer wedding.

Maybe because they look like snowflakes. But I think, it would be ok to try that out. How about pushing through with that and then think or lively colors that will fit the season? I've seen that kind of design as a favor in wedding decoration in HK. That would look fantastic.
It is your wedding date and if you want these decorations, just do them! When my friend was getting married, she choose royal blue color for her wedding, and many people told her that royal blue is not acceptable for a beach wedding! She choose royal blue color for her wedding anyway and photographs, wedding arbor turned out to look great!
