Washing Machine - what would happen if I use dry-cleaning solvent in my laundry machine?

I think the first effect would be that all the rubber washers dissolve, so every hose and pipe fitting leaks. There are many different fluids, so it depends on which one you get. The first fluid sold for dry cleaning was gasoline (xylene).
