My friend works as a concierge at a high rise apartment building. A tenant asked him if he would watch her dog for a few days since she was going out of town. The company he works for found out and fired him saying that it was a conflict of interest. Was this legal for them to do?

He was working a concierge & got fired for watching a tenant's pet. Was he wrongfully terminated?
Basically can he take this to court & claim he was wrongfully terminated & get his job back??
so he cant file like some sort of discrimination or anything because they were allowed to let him go,correct?
