I have recently been reading articles on gender equality. A certain man's comment caught my eye. He wrote, men and women were not equal because they were not treated equally. He pulled out certain reasons such as this one: women were not obligated to enroll in the army. I want to know. Who made that a rule in the first place? Was it men? Because if it was, he has no reason to complain to women about it. The ban was officially removed in 2013 by the US military.

You are pulling words out of the air, blaming an unnamed person for speaking those words, and asking us to clarify your confusion. What you need is to stop being confused. Record in your notes what was said, who said it, and where you found it. Then you have an actual record of something that can be checked by someone else. What you have here is a jumble that does not warrant any answer.
I apologize for judging him quick, I wrote this text as fast as I could so I could get an answer as fast as possible. I wrote whatever came to my mind, because I thought "detailing" my question would be useful. If I could change it, I would, but there it is. So, just forget about the details.
