Hi,for history I have to answer the question; Was Abraham Lincoln right to go to war with the confederate states or should he have allowed them to become their own country? Please could you answer this for me I should be very great full. Also please try to keep as short as possible. Thank you:-)

War is wrong, but slavery is an abomination.  In my opinion, as an ethical man, Abraham Lincoln had no choice but to go to war with the C.S.A.

Actually, the primary reason President Abraham Lincoln went to war with the Confederate States of America was not because of slavery, but because the President wanted to keep the union of States together, not separated.
