I read up on "visitation dreams" and found out that the spouse you lost wont show up to you looking sick. But recently I had a dream of my cousin giving me a warning about the house we're moving into. He killed himself two years ago, the house we're moving into used to belong to him. When he comes to me in these dreams he doesn't look healthy. His skin is tight, his eyes are sunken in, and his voice is hoarse. I don't know how to take these dreams or what to make of them.

Often our dreams are actually our instincts processing information that our conscious mind was not properly aware of. If you are receiving a warning, it may be that you are getting a cue, probably from the scent of the house, that all is not right with the house in question. I hope it is not the house where your cousin killed himself. Many is the person who didn't listen to their instincts telling them something was wrong who lived to regret it. Of course if people live anywhere for long enough bad things will happen eventually, but so will good things, and we tend to forget the good things because we are trained to focus on threats. On the other hand, you may not have the financial leeway to just change your plans about where to live, so make a solid effort to see what the source of the problem may be and see if you can rectify it. Ask yourself if people living there shared any symptoms as a clue.
