My question is: will the record remain and be accessible through the court order, or police will dismiss the record and no information is to ever be found?
Can victim request removal of the record? Will something stay on record in this situation?

the only way they can update a news piece is if they don't have enough information to prosecute and they can with hold information till they have enough factual information to update a story but they don't release information till they have the facts in order to prove their point
