I had an interview with the postmaster recently. At the end of the interview she explained the following steps of the hiring process. She did not flat out say that I had gotten the job. However, I don't see why she would have explained to me in such detail what was to follow. She also told me to pay attention to my emails because you only have 72 hours to respond to them or you will be disqualified. She also told me to check my junk folder as well because occasionally the email may end up there. My question is for anyone who has had an interview with the USPS and either gotten hired or not. Did your interviewer go into such detail about the follow up steps? Was this just standard procedure on her part? I'm just curious because I don't want to get my hopes up thinking it's a sure thing when in fact it may not be.
