I am currently in Los Angeles and holding a valid J1 visa. I am planning to visit Mexico next week for two weeks, but I find my I94 is lost. But I do have all the other documents needed: passport, visa, DS2019 with travel validation and a copy of the original I94.
I do not have enough time to apply a new I94 before my travel. I wonder whether I can obtain a new I94 when I return to US from Mexico. Will there be any problems for my return.
