(I live alone and have not designated any executor.) Such creditors include a mortgage company, automobile insurer, internet provider, HO-6 Insurance provider, cellphone service, utilities, //////etc. I have a very simple and modest estate, and wish to die w/o a will so that the mortgage company gets it all (and all the headaches).

If there's no living next of kin, I suppose it'll count as intestacy - the state or council will tie up any loose ends (funeral and debts), covering the costs with a part of the estate, then keep hold of the remainder should any heir turn up. But these laws aren't standard, so can't tell for sure.
In my experience, even with a will all virtual holdings became locked up and semi automatic liquidation procedures took over.
