I recently moved into a rental with a lot of issues. The landlord is oblivious to the repairs it needs. To list a few: Its literally wired wrong without any wires coded or properly grounded, the subflooring is bubbling from water damage, half if the plugs/outlets don't work, the fuss is is labeled or wired wrong and doesn't shut off power to the house, ... They're "working" on the electrical problems. My most concerning discovery right now is the tub/shower drains DIRECTLY onto the crawlspace floor. No pipes, no drain ... Literally flows from the tub drain hole onto the ground. Is this legal, is it even safe? There's a huge mold problem, I assume due largely impart to this. My family is just starting to recover from a huge financial fallout, so relocating is not an option currently.
