It starts with two men playing a board game similar to Dungeons and Dragons. One of them makes an almost impossible roll with his dice that frees him from being frozen. After this point, the man who made the roll somehow goes to another world. It might be the world of the game or one that is only similar. Don't think its anime (pretty sure its American) and I think its from the 90's. Anyway, just been trying to remember what this one was.
