a long time ago when i was a kid in the 90 s, i remember there was this fantasy magazine series that detailed some pretty cool ongoing adventures with pictures that came with bits of a map every month and cards that once you had the set, could play a game with. one of the things i remember was there was this cheeta warrior guy who went toe to toe with a giant spider in the second issue but was killed, the hero s then threw a magic stone at the spider that turned it to stone that crumbled to dust.
i'm trying to find out the name of that series and read the rest of the story, anyone know what the name of it was?
