I have a tree in my garden planted in memory of my Late Father, my neighbour has said she would like the branches shortening, today I come home from work and find that she has had some one in and litterally cut the tree in half, the branches where not returned to my side nor did she give me the chance to trim the tree, the tree has been there over 15 years and is (was) about 5m high with a 5m crown, only now has she complained, I know the law on tree cutting but is it right for her to go ahead without me having the chance to trim the tree myself, I never refused as I did not know anything about it
