Trading in comex market is profitable ?

trading in any market in theory can be profitable. in practice, as i previously said in some other answers, only a few gain on a consistent basis - small retailers generally lose as they only speculate and they account for more than 80% of all the traders. one friend of mine who is a very intelligent literate professional lost 50% of his portfolio due the move in EUR/CHF a lot of money that required more than 4 years to build. imagine yourself had been long on oil since june - can you count your virual loss? the high leverage is the biggest enemy of the unexperienced small trader - they bank small profits, do not timely cut loses and finally incur significant loses. derrivatives on comodities are as dangerous as any other FOREX scam. sorry, I mean product...
