this morning one of my relatives was cutting tomatoes for breakfast but she was in shock when she found "worms" growing inside of the tomato. She called her husband over and he said to throw it away, he thought it was filled with worms or something. They investigated it more and found that they were actually little plant buds growing INSIDE of the tomato. She showed me and i'm assuming it's a genetic disorder or seeds from a different plant got into it and started growing. My theory is that since a tomato has a good percentage of water in it, and seeds need water to grow, maybe seeds from a different plant somehow got into it and started thriving and growing from the water supply in the tomato. Anyone know anything else?? or if my theory is somewhat correct?
