I slammed my hand in the door and my knuckles turned purple and I don't know what to do. My mom says this is called self injury.
Today I hurt my hand. I slammed it in the doorway. And its bruising really purple. Tips?

And when I heard that it was called "self injury", I started to have a panic attack. I didn't think it would be called "self injury". But now that I know its called self injury, I know the next time not to slam my hand in the doorway when I'm trying to close the closet door in my house! :)
