Pure quadratic equation - it is not in the form of ax2 + bx + c
the form must include also something to equal to. the form of the formula should beax2+bx+c = 0, but the form you present IS a PART of a quadratic equation.
So, if the problem just stated that part, then the answer is correct in my view.
