Thermal power is better or solar enery is better why?

Solar Power is a better choice if you want to live off the city grid. You don't need to worry about a power bill and you can sell power back to the grid. That's only if you live in an area that gets a lot of sun though. You also get the benefit of no pollution and solar power is renewable.
another benefit of solar power, is if the city has a black out, you will be one of the few who still has power.
