I have met the requirements that they need, planted them and watered them. I brought them from b&q and they are producing veg but the plants are dying...is something wrong with them.

Both those plants need to be in a hot house/greenhouse, they need a constant warm temperature to develop properly. If you are doing that already then it may be that they are not receiving adequate daylight (to much shade OR, perversly, too much direct sunlight). It is also possible that the soil is not sufficiently fertile and some simple "grow sticks" (a preformed fertilizer) may do the trick. Tomatoes and chilies are sensitive plants and there can be a bit of learning curve to finding conditions that suit them ideally. If none of my advice is helpful then the plants may be infected with a disease in which case there is not much you can do, sadly. Good luck!
