Most people do not know what love is, but they are happy to make up something when asked.
I suggest that love is when you are aware of a need and you take care of it. A man needs female companionship. Some females won't give a man companionship, but they will give him sex. So a lot of men grow up thinking sex is all there is. That doesn't work right, and they never figure out what is wrong.
