2. The USA has prospered in the past specifically because its borders were unguarded.
3. Trying to block immigration is a symptom of impending collapse. The USA has been showing symptoms of collapse since WW2.
4. If the wall is successful, food prices will soar because crops are picked mostly by foreigners.
5. The number of Mexicans in the USA has been constant for as long as anybody has bothered to count, except it has risen since the border was closed. They still come to pick our crops, but now they can't go home again!
