So I have quite a bit of extra chub (but I'm not obese). I haven't been able to lose weight in years. I have type 1 diabetes, so my blood glucose goes nuts when I exercise (drops to the 40's) and at random times during the day. I really need to slim down soon, I'm afraid I'll end up doing something I regret. Please help suggest what I do.

One of the things you can do if you have Diabetes, is to drink more water. This helps you to lose more weight automatically. The rule is you need to drink at least 1/2 your body weight in oz. For example, if you weigh 120 lbs, you should be drinking at least 60 oz. of water per day minimum. It is also more healthy to be drinking clean filtered water instead of bottled water from the store for a number of reasons including price ($2-$3/gallon vs. 9 cents/gallon). Solid carbon blocks like those at Mosteffectivefilter.com have the best high quality filter that is the most NSF-certified of any other system on the market. They are great point-of-use systems. Hope that helps.
