Tall rainforest tree, large and thick buttress roots as,how are roots suitable for their function?

the soil in rainforests does not have many minerals .. its basically dead soil , so buttress roots spread widely into the soil to absorb the water and minerals for the trees to grow.
for more information u should search the net.. i have only given u a brief sketch .

Roots are the most important part for the functioning of any tree. According to me their has to be decrease of several weed elements or the soil components would not be hard enough to grab the mineral. So try to re-cultivate this whole section and if it is not possible then remove various non-activated minerals from the roots and properly take cared of them.
