should i start wearing sunscreen everyday? and reapply every 2 hours? i don't live in a sunny place, but i want to protect my skin as best as possible. I'm just ashamed when people see me apply sunscreen in public areas like the bathroom. or do you think i'm being paranoid?

No, I don't think you need to apply sunscreen everyday. If it's not sunny or snowy then sunscreen would be pointless. What you need to protect your skin is soothing lotion because that helps keep it moisturized, and long clothibg to cover up your arms and legs. That will protecct it really well.
These days, the sun is no longer your friend. Sometimes, it doesn't bring anymore happiness like it used to. This is the reason you have to be putting on sun screen all the time. I came across with iwbodywraps.com and realize the effects the sun could bring. It would give dark spots on your skin, tanned, not to mention lose its luster and glow. In short, too much sun exposure can make your skin look old. You may not be living in a sunny place, sun screen is still an essential. There's nothing to be ashamed of when you're only protecting your skin.
